register to vote Being a voter is the best way to make sure your voice is heard. Fortunately, California makes it easy! Link to California Online Voter Registration to register to vote or check your registration status. Future voters aged 16 and 17 can even pre-register!

California now allows Same Day Voter Registration, too, if you are registering less than 15 days before the November 3rd election. And because Opportunity Junction is a polling place, you can do that on Election Day at our office! However, to be sure that your ballot can count for all of your local races, it’s best to vote (and register, if you need to) in your home polling place.

The Contra Costa County Elections Division outlines all of your options for registering and voting, including Vote By Mail and early voting. The website even allows you to track your Vote By Mail ballot, whether you mail it back, deposit it in a secure ballot drop box, or turn it in at a polling place.

This year, November 3rd, be a voter and make your voice heard in the decisions that affect our country and our local communities!
