Every time the bell rings, a job seeker has earned a job—and a life changes in that moment.
The bell tradition began in 2015, introduced by Opportunity Junction’s advisory council and board members as a way to honor something worth celebrating at the highest level: a graduate stepping into employment after completing the ACT (Administrative Careers Training) program. Since then, it has become one of the most meaningful traditions in our community—a moment where hard work, persistence, and opportunity come together in a single ring shared by graduates, classmates, and staff.
But behind every ring is something even more powerful: a community that made it possible.
By joining the Bell Ringers Club, you make that success sustainable.
Your commitment is simple: a single, year-end donation based on the number of ACT graduates placed into jobs during the fiscal year. Your gift is directly tied to real outcomes—real people moving from training into stable employment, often transforming the trajectory of their lives and families.
And your impact doesn’t stop there.
Each Bell Ringers contribution helps ensure that OJ’s ACT program remains completely free for eligible participants.
For example, if 35 ACT students are placed into jobs by June 30, 2026, your contribution would be:
• $10 per placement × 35 placements = $350
• $50 per placement × 35 placements = $1,750
• $100 per placement × 35 placements = $3,500
