Thanks to the incredible generosity of 204 donors, including $35,000 in matching funds, we raised more than $186,000 this year to support Opportunity Junction!

This year's campaign holds special significance. One of our long-time champions, Ken Graunstadt of Delta Scrap & Salvage, who generously provided matching funds for over a decade, passed away in the summer of 2024. Ken’s unwavering support and belief in our mission were instrumental in driving the success of this annual fundraiser. His legacy of generosity continues to inspire us.
In Ken’s honor, another long-time donor—who wishes to remain anonymous—stepped forward to provide matching funds equal to what Ken had always contributed. This incredible gesture ensured the continued success of the campaign, and we are immensely grateful for their kindness and dedication to our mission.
As we look ahead, 2025 marks a major milestone: Opportunity Junction’s 25th anniversary! There is so much to celebrate and even more to strive toward. With the expansion of our Healthcare Career Pathways program, our Medical Assistant Training program is poised to make an even greater impact, with plans to train and graduate three cohorts this year following a successful pilot last fall.
