New Grants 250x350Ahlsten Foundation: The Ahlsten Foundation recently awarded Opportunity Junction a fourth grant in as many years, providing unrestricted funds to address critical needs in eastern Contra Costa County. The Ahlsten Foundation has a passion and a vision for a better world through the support of education, the improvement of health, and the alleviation of human suffering.

Contra Costa County Community Services Bureau: Contra Costa County's Community Services Bureau awarded key Community Service Block Grant (CSBG) funding for Opportunity Junction’s Administrative Careers Training program. CSBG is funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, Office of Community Services.

Tipping Point Community: Tipping Point Community awarded a one-time grant for leadership training, which has been a critical component to a successful leadership transition in the past year. Tipping Point builds community to advance the most promising poverty-fighting solutions.

Magic Cabinet: Magic Cabinet funded capacity-building efforts at Opportunity Junction, supporting initiatives that will strengthen the health of the organization for years to come.

WestAmerica Bank: Westamerica Bank provided support for the ACT program, maintaining the bank's long-term commitment to our primary job training initiative.

CoCo Farms: CoCo Farms provided its continued funding to Opportunity Junction to sustain the expansion of Certified Nursing Assistant to the Antioch office. The support is part of its social equity program in Antioch.
