Graduation 250x350Opportunity Junction invites the community to help celebrate the graduation of our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) students next month.

The ceremony will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 13, starting at 7 p.m. at El Campanil Theater (602 W. Second St., Antioch) and serve to recognize the hard work and dedication of these future healthcare professionals.

The students at both our Antioch and Concord training sites completed 303 hours of training – far exceeding the state’s required 60 hours of classroom instruction and 100 hours of supervised training. They each also completed 120 hours for their clinical externships, which gave them hands-on experience of applying the patient-centered care curriculum they learned in the classroom.

“I can’t even express how tremendously proud we are of all our students,” said Nicole Hall, CNA professional skills instructor. “They have worked so hard to get here. We hope the community comes out to show their support to help celebrate these grads and their accomplishments.”

The graduation ceremony is open to all. Whether you are family, friend, a longtime supporter of Opportunity Junction, or someone hoping to get involved, we hope to see you there!
