San Francisco Foundation: A long-time supporter of Opportunity Junction, the San Francisco Foundation awarded a new grant for core operating support. The foundation is committed to advancing racial equity and economic inclusion in the San Francisco Bay Area.


Anonymous Fund at the East Bay Community Foundation: The Anonymous Fund at the East Bay Community Foundation issued an unrestricted grant to support Opportunity Junction's programs. The East Bay Community Foundation partners with donors, social movements, and the community to eliminate structural barriers, advance racial equity, and transform political, social, and economic outcomes for all who call the East Bay home.


Justice, Justice Foundation:
Contra Costa County's private philanthropic Justice, Justice Foundation renewed its support of Opportunity Junction's programming with an unrestricted grant. Justice, Justice is involved with the STRONG Funders group supporting nonprofits in East Contra Costa County and is also a supporter of Tipping Point Community.


Arthur N. Rupe Foundation: The Healthcare Career Pathways (HCP) recently received a grant from the Rupe Foundation, which exists to improve society and be a positive influence on American life. In the founder’s words, the foundation “aims to improve education at all levels, support authentic debate where all aspects of issues are revealed in a balanced exploration of the facts, and support research and scholarly studies that can achieve broad public dissemination.”


Strive for Change Foundation: The Strive for Change Foundation continued to provide support for our programs helping motivated job seekers in Contra Costa County achieve economic self-sufficiency. The foundation seeks to help low-income workers overcome poverty in Alameda and Contra Costa counties by supporting job training programs.


Pacific Services Credit Union: The Administrative Careers Training Program received a grant of support from Pacific Services Credit Union. The credit union's community contributions focus on benefiting those in underprivileged and disadvantaged circumstances.


CoCo Farms: CoCo Farms provided its continued funding to Opportunity Junction to sustain the expansion of Certified Nursing Assistant to the Antioch office. The support is part of its social equity program in Antioch.


Cookies/Lemonnade: As part of its social equity program agreement through the City of Antioch, Lemonnade contributes regular funding to Opportunity Junction to support the Certified Nursing  Assistant training program we offer in our Antioch office. The social equity program aims to repair the harm caused to communities of color from disproportionate arrests for marijuana-related offenses.


Umpqua Bank Charitable Foundation: Umpqua Bank Charitable Foundation has issued a grant to support the Administrative Careers Training Program. Umpqua Bank takes great pride in its commitment to serving and supporting our communities, and we deeply appreciate its support of this work.
